Instant messaging for PSP!

eBuddy, the free web-based instant messenger, has just launched their web client for the PlayStation Portable. eBuddy writes, “by opening the PSP browser and going to m.ebuddy.com you can chat on MSN, Yahoo!, AIM and Google Talk. No download required and it’s free to use.”

While instant messaging would be a lot more convinient with a Qwerty keyboard, the PSP’s built-in texter will have to suffice. In any case, it’s great to see third parties developing apps for Sony’s handheld.

You can use the PSP version to chat with all your MSN / AIM / Yahoo! / Google Talk buddies, in one single buddy list. It has full emoticon support and is available in English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Magyar, Italiano, Arabic, Nederlands, Português and Pt. Brasileiro. More translations will be added soon.

Also check out Heysan. It is a mobile Instant Messaging service optimized for the Sony PSP. Heysan supports all the major networks, MSN, AIM, Yahoo, Gtalk and ICQ and includes extended community features such as chat rooms, profiles and forums.

hey..i like both sites… im using heysan currently tho..but i like both . There both good. Im getting an ipod touch soon tho. so it will be easier to type. Ill use like http://www.beejive.com for that.. or http://www.meebo.com …who knows…i think theres an app i can add too..w.e Thanks Everyone.

The only problem with eBuddy is that when your in a chat waiting for them to reply, the page takes twenty-five seconds to reload, which is annoying when your in a fast paced IM session… I havent been able to log into heysan, so im not sure how that is.
